<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dispersible coloring material high in dispersion stability, realizing high-fastness and high-precision image formation and also realizing securing image density even in plain paper printing, sufficient glossiness on gloss paper and securing scratch resistance, to provide a water-based ink, photocurable water-based ink, ink-jet printer and ink-jet printing method each using the coloring material. <P>SOLUTION: The dispersible coloring material comprises a coloring material and electrically chargeable resin pseudo-microparticles smaller in size than the coloring material with both of the two components stuck with each other. In this coloring material, the electrically chargeable resin pseudo-microparticles have reactive groups on their surface.
