PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio communication system and communication terminal in which an optimal scheme can be selected out of a plurality of radio communication schemes and automatically switched. SOLUTION: Communication equipment 1 comprises an I/F 2 for LAN, an I/F 3 for PAN and two radio communication means, a communication quality in each of communication methods is recognized by a communication quality recognizing section 4, and a communication method of a higher communication quality is selected by a communication interface control section 7.
