PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a direct ceiling-mounted lighting fixture attaching device, of which a connector fitted at an underside part of an adapter main body is exposed to be free in connection when a lock member is moved to a locking position, and a state of fitting-in loading can be confirmed with a confirmation gage when the adapter main body is attached to a ceiling main body. SOLUTION: A pair of locking members 10 to be engaged in free detachment with a lighting fixture main body 6 are installed at the adapter main body 1 in free coming up and going down with a bias toward a protrusion direction, so that, when the lock member 21 is moved to a locking position and made engaged with a release protrusion piece 12 integrally formed with the locking member 10, a connector (a)25 for power supply fitted to the adapter main body 1 is exposed to be enabled to be connected. Furthermore, the lighting fixture attaching device is so structured that a lock button (b)16 is provided with coloring so as to be able to discriminate a confirmation gage part 19, and a fitting-in loading state of the ceiling main body 3 and the adapter main body 1 is confirmed by the confirmation gage part 19 coming out of and going into a confirmation window 20 fitted at an underside of the adapter.
