PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical anti-vibration device with a single-hinge shaft structure, by which the need for a shaft processing which includes a terminal sphering process for allowing the inclination of the terminal of a shaft in all directions is eliminated and increase in the manufacturing cost is not incurred. SOLUTION: The optical anti-vibration device has such structure that balls 7a and 7b are set in the receiving part 9 of a support frame 4 and the receiving part 8 of a fixed section, respectively, and a hinge shaft 7 is held between both the balls 7a and 7b. The balls 7a and 7b and the hinge shaft 7 are held by the pressing force of a constrained coil spring 20, whose one end is fixed to the receiving part 8 and the other end to the receiving part 9. The hinge shaft 7 can be inclined in all directions.
