PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a two-dimensional multicolor-process temperature measuring apparatus of high measuring accuracy. SOLUTION: Fixed noise is removed by a noise subtraction processing means 38. The relation between the quantity of incident light and output values E is linearized by a gain correction means 40. According to a flat correction means 44, a first correction value E''<SB>1ij</SB>and a second correction value E''<SB>2ij</SB>are divided by a first correction reference value Eb<SB>ij</SB>and a second correction reference value Eb''<SB>2ij</SB>to compute a first ratio E'''<SB>1ij</SB>and a second ratio E'''<SB>2ij</SB>. A radiation intensity ratio computing means 46 computes a radiation intensity ratio R through the use of the first ratio E'''<SB>1ij</SB>and a second ratio E'''<SB>2ij</SB>. Since the ratio between the first ratio E'''<SB>1ij</SB>and the second ratio E'''<SB>2ij</SB>therefore takes a value close to a true radiation intensity ratio by the reduction of variations in optical systems, it is possible to heighten measuring accuracy in a temperature distribution by applying the ratio to a temperature conversion function.
