PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a security device for an elevator capable of improving security service by displaying animation of a landing of not only a destination floor but also other floors inside an elevator car. SOLUTION: An animation display device inside the elevator car 2 is provided with a first and a second display units 12 and 13. Animation to be obtained by an animation obtaining device 9 provided in a landing of each floor is picked up by an animation display control unit 8, and delivered to the first and the second display units 12 and 13. The animation display control unit 8 delivers animation of the destination floor to the firs display unit 12 in response to registration of destination floor with an operation control unit 5, and animation of the floor, in which the elevator car 2 can stop next time, is delivered to the second display unit 13.
