IP CALL ORIGIN NOTIFYING METHOD, OPTICAL TRANSMISSION SYSTEM, OPTICAL CONNECTOR AND OPTICAL SUBSCRIBER TERMINAL EQUIPMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To notify a location of an IP call origin to a called party. SOLUTION: Radio IC tags 22-1 to 22-n holding unique identification information are mounted on optical connectors 20-1 to 20-n of a user connection port. Correspondence between locations of the optical connectors 20-1 to 20-n and the identification information of the radio IC tags 22-1 to 22-n is registered in a port management database 34. An IC tag reader 52 of an ONU 40 reads the identification information of the radio IC tag 22-1 of the optical connector 20-1 to be connected. In the case of an emergency call, the ONU 40 transmits, to a center station 10, destination information of the emergency call and the identification information of the radio IC tag 22-1. Management terminal equipment 32 of the center station 10 collates the identification information of the radio IC tag 22-1 with the database 34 and investigates the location of the optical connector 20-1. The center station 10 adds information indicative of the resultant location to the destination information of the emergency call and outputs the information to an IP network 24.
