PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a convenient mobile terminal with a time memorandum display function having a function capable of registering the present time as a time memorandum, with an operation input by a user, and capable of displaying the time memorandum and a lapse time. SOLUTION: A cellular phone is provided with a control part 1 for controlling respective parts for realizing various functions. The control part 1 has a display control means 1a, a time memorandum registering part 1b and a time memorandum erasing part 1c. When the user selects or assigns a time memorandum function from a menu screen, the display control means 1a starts up a timer 11 after the time memorandum registering part 1b registers the time of a time piece part 9 as the time memorandum in a memory 10, with the operation input by the user, when no time memorandum exists in the memory 10. The display control means 1a reads out the time memorandum, and acquires the lapse time of the timer 10 to be displayed on a display part 2. The time memorandum and the lapse time are able to be cleared or reset with the operation input by the user, by the time memorandum erasing part 1c, when unnecessary. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
