The invention relates to a device (1) and a method for secure demultiplexing of at least one multiplexed program flow (FTM), wherein each program comprises encrypted representation data (CRYP) and access control data (CTRL). The inventive device comprises flow receiving means (11), means for demultiplexing (DMX) according to one or several programs selected by a user retrieving the control and representation data of the selected program, means (12) for creating a decryption key (CLE) on the basis of the access control data and means for decrypting (13) the representation data by means of said key. Said device also comprises means (14) for storing at least the encrypted representation data of the selected program in a transient storage space (20) simultaneously with the creation of the decryption key and means for injecting (15) said representation data from the storage space into the decryption means when the decryption key is created.
