<p>A method for patient bi-directional messaging to improve patient adherence to case management, is disclosed. The method extends the provider/patient communication beyond the provider premises. The method includes comparing source characteristics to target characteristics of both source and target patients, respectively thus updating questions posed to the target patients to promote a learning protocol. A PAR3 communication device communicates patient information from the provider to the patient and vice-versa. The bi-directional messaging system improves patient medication adherence, follow-up visits, hospitalization information, quality of life indicators, and a comprehension of educational content related to a particular medical condition.</p> |
