<p>The invention relates to a damping device (8) for telescopic guards (1) of the type having a plurality of tubular covering elements (4) that slide inside each other in a defined direction, and that have a front edge (6) and a rear edge (7) with a first stop portion (25) and a second stop portion (26), respectively. The damping device (8) is equipped with at least one shock absorber (9) located and acting between the rear edge (7) and at least one of the stop portions (25, 26), the shock absorber (9) comprising a portion (12) for connecting it to the rear edge (7) or to the first stop portion (25), and at least one flexible arm (14', 15', 19', 20') attached at one end to the connecting portion (12). The free end of at least one of the arms (14', 15', 19', 20') is attached to a damper (18) made of a resilient material and being larger in cross section than the arm (14', 15', 19', 20'), the arm (14', 15', 19', 20') and the related damper (18) being designed to absorb the shocks that occur between two adjacent tubular elements (4) when the telescopic guard (1) is being extended or retracted. <IMAGE></p> |
