<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent generation of abnormal sound of a separating member due to occurrence of a stick slip during separative feeding of paper sheets between a paper feeding roller and the separating member, by energizing the separating member in the direction of the separative feeding of paper sheets by means of an energizing means. SOLUTION: A pair of engaging pawls 61d are formed on both ends of a back face 61c of a separating member main body 61. The engaging pawls 61d are engaged to engaging recessed parts 63e formed on a back face 63d of a recessed part 63, and prevents falling from the recessed part 63, A pair of plate springs 70 bent in a curvature are fixed to both sides of the back face 61c of the separating member main body 61, and press against the back face 63d of the recessed part 63 for energizing a space between a paper feeding roller 6 and a friction pad 13a composing a separating member 60 in the direction parallel to the paper feeding direction of a fed paper sheet S. Thus, when a stick slip occurs in a direction parallel to the paper feeding direction due to frictional force generated between the paper sheet S and the friction pad 13, the separating member main body 61 is prevented as much as possible from moving along and vibrations generating between a supporting shaft 64 and a bearing hole 65 is prevented as much as possible.</p> |
