#CMT# #/CMT# The transmission comprises a front drive unit (40) with a front axle (41), an output bushing (42), a casing (43), a double gear part (44) and a drive gear (45), a rear slave unit (50) with a rear axle (51), a rear hub (52) and a slave gear (53) and a chain (54) extending around the drive and slave gears. The front axle is mounted in a five-point connecting tube (110) and has each end connected to a pedal arm (200). The front axle comprises a drive gear section in between first and second mounting sections at either end. The output bushing is rotatably mounted on the second mounting section and comprises a slave gear section and a mounting section. The casing is mounted inside the connecting tube and has a first end rotatably mounted on the first mounting section of the front axle, a second end rotatably mounted on the mounting section of the bushing and an outer wall located in between and connected to these two ends. The casing houses the drive gear section of the front axle and the slave gear section of the bushing. The double gear part is located between the two ends of the casing and comprises a first gear section located inside the casing and cooperating with the drive gear section of the front axle and a second gear section coaxial with the first gear section and also ! located inside the casing and cooperating with the slave gear section of the bushing. The drive gear is fitted over the mounting section of the bushing and located outside the casing. Pedalling causes the front axle to rotate relative to the casing, causing the rotation force to be transmitted from the axle to the bushing.
