Method and premixed combustion system

The method for burning fuels (S1) with low calorific value, especially synthesis gas, for driving gas turbines comprises premixing the fuel with air (L1) while minimizing conversion. The mixture is then burnt to generate hot gas (H). Independent claims are included for: (A) a premixing combustion system for use in the method; and (B) gas turbines fitted with the system.
