Transmission of Additional Dedicated Physical Control CHannel (ADPCCH) in W-CDMA system

A scrambling unit (54) multiplexes the output signals of a spectrum-spreader (52) and a distributor (53) to generate a complex signal of I signal, Q signal. The amplitude factors (beta cc(I),beta cc(Q)) are determined based on the signal powers at respective I-axis and Q-axis of additional dedicated physical control channel (ADPCC). Independent claims are included for the following: (1) base station; (2) communication system; and (3) communication method.
