Electric machine

The electrical machine has a fixed stator and a rotatably mounted rotor, whereby the stator and/or the rotor has a winding whose winding head is stiffened by means of a foaming material (7) that is electrically insulating. The foaming material is moisture repellant and temperature resistant. An independent claim is also included for a method of stiffening a winding head of an electrical machine.
