<p>The fastening element for a spoiler vane of a motor vehicle has an adjusting cylinder (4) to adjust the vane in a raised and lowered position. The fastening element (5) comprises a housing element connected to the outer tube of the adjusting cylinder and provided with a central threaded spindle (12) which is connected to an attachment sleeve which directly supports the spoiler vane.
