摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a motor being controlled toward acceleration when mechanical braking is conducted to an electric vehicle. SOLUTION: In a speed-control treatment section 62, a detection signal of a foot-brake switch 38 inputted from an input treatment section 60 determines whether a driver is in a brake pedal 8 operation or not. When a command speed exceeds a detected speed, the speed-control treatment section 62 reduces the command speed, to coincide it with the detected speed. Therefore, even if the detected speed is reduced below the command speed earlier than the command speed is reduced, when the command speed is gradually reduced by a driver's brake operation while traveling, an command-speed computer section 61 reduces the command speed to the detected speed, thus preventing the main motor 1 being controlled toward acceleration.
