<p>The double fourdrinier (1), to convert a pulp from a stock inlet (5) into a wet web of paper or cardboard, has a double fourdrinier path (4) for a carrier fourdrinier (2) and an upper fourdrinier (3) with the pulp suspension between them. At the start of the double fourdrinier path, the upper fourdrinier is passed over a deflection roller (6,6.1) with a suction zone, and the carrier fourdrinier passes over a deflection roller (19) at the end of the path, with a suction zone (21).
