A building which is polygonal in plan view has an external surface which is curved. Curves (5) are formed around the point at which corners (3) are formed and the wall space (7) between adjacent corners is cylindrical, the central portion of the roof (9) being flat. Preferably the plan is an equilateral triangle (Figures 6 and 7). The building is made of a frame supported by columns (21, Figure 4) and a concrete cylinder (23), the frame is cladded (41, Figure 5). Preferably the building is modular and modules may be stacked one above another (Figure 9). Each module may be two storeys (11, 13). |
