Multiple clutch device

The multiple clutch assembly (12), in a vehicle drive transmission train, has a static clutch housing (200) opposite the gearbox housing (20), to take one of the clutch assemblies (64,72). It defines an outward and sealed wet zone, to be fitted at the gearbox side of the transmission train. The clutch housing fits into a bell (18) at the gearbox, in an axial and/or keyed mounting against rotation, centered at the gearbox input shafts (22,24).
