FIELD: chemistry of polymers, chemical technology. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention describes a method for synthesis of water-soluble polymers based on N,N,N,N-trimethylmethacryloyloxyethyl ammonium and acrylamide salts. Method involves polymerization of water-soluble and alcohol-soluble acrylamide as monomers in solution and N,N,N,N-trimethylmethacryloyloxyethyl ammonium salt in inert atmosphere at heating. Indicated (co)-monomers are dissolved in liquid chosen from an order comprising water, water-soluble aliphatic polyhydric alcohol or an aqueous solution of such polyhydric alcohol. The solution of monomers is stirred with hydrophobic liquid at heating in inert atmosphere up to formation of granules and heating is continued without stirring. The reaction is carried out in the following mass ratios (co)-monomer : hydrophobic liquid = (5-25):100 and in the concentration of (co)-monomers in solution 80-93 wt.-%. As a hydrophobic liquid method involves using polysiloxane liquids (polysiloxane oil) with indices of kinematic viscosity from 200 to 400 sSt. Method provides preparing granulated polymers. ^ EFFECT: improved preparing method. ^ 2 cl, 1 tbl, 5 ex |
