FIELD: the invention refers to measuring technique. ^ SUBSTANCE: the vibrations generating converter is designed for using in quality of primary converter for controlling dimensional parameters of parts. The converter has a measuring rod firmly connected with the armature of an exciter of vibrations and attached to the body and to the foundation with the aid of elastic elements. Peculiarity of the converter is that the elastic elements are fulfilled as U-shaped with various lengths of the branches and a variable cross-section. The longer branches of the elastic elements are connected with the measuring rod and the short branches - with the foundation of the converter. The changing of the cross-section is achieved by bilateral sickle-shaped cuts in the design. The sickle-shaped cuts are fulfilled with the radius of circumference the arch of which is conjugated with the radius of the curve of the elastic element. The elastic elements are installed in opposite reflection to each other. ^ EFFECT: the invention decides the task of increasing reliability and durability of the converter by way of decreasing fatigue load perceived by the elastic elements and simplification of tuning to a resonance frequency. ^ 1 cl, 2 dwg
