FIELD: manufacture of complex-shape surfaces of machine parts of easy-to-passivate materials. ^ SUBSTANCE: process comprises steps of applying trains of rectangular electric current HF-pulses clocked by time moment of maximum approaching of oscillating tool-electrode with electrode-blank; controlling repetition period of electric current pulses according to condition for keeping stabilized electrode potential in range of its minimum value; measuring electrode potential in time moment of turning-off electric current at termination of each current pulse of train; registering set value of electrode potential; for each next pulse train changing repetition period of pulses by some value till electrode potential achieves its minimum value. ^ EFFECT: elimination of flaws such as pitting and etched spots due to realizing optimal parameters of process. ^ 7 cl, 3 dwg
