FIELD: rolled tube production, namely working tools of piercing mills of helical rolling mills, possibly manufacture of tubes in tube rolling aggregates, for example with pilger mills. ^ SUBSTANCE: roll of helical rolling mill includes (arranged in direction of piercing process) part for joining with drive unit, journal for bearing assembly, working portion with inlet and outlet cones, journal for bearing assembly and cantilever-type additional working portion. According to invention said cantilever-type additional working portion is detachable one; it is made in the form of ring joined through splined joints with rim of outlet side of roll with possibility of selecting diameter of ring depending upon piercing conditions such as lifting-charge and upon roll barrel wear degree. On inner side of wall of said ring there is thickened portion limiting shift towards inlet side of roll. Splined joints are inclined relative to roll axis by angle preventing ring motion towards outlet side of rotating roll. ^ EFFECT: enlarged functional possibilities of mill due to elimination of pierced sleeve curvature and their lowered wall thickness difference. ^ 2 cl, 1 dwg |
