FIELD: rolled stock production, mainly die rolling mills, for example hot pilger rolling mills, possibly measuring disagreement value of zero points of rolls at setting mutual angular position of rolls of pilger mill. ^ SUBSTANCE: method of measuring disagreement of zero points of rolls comprises steps of registering by means of pickups arrangement of said points in time; registering speed according to mark spaced by predetermined distance from zero point; converging received readings to metric values. Disagreement value of zero points of rolls of pilger mill is measured under load according to marks spaced by 1/3 of striker angle against rotation direction of rolls relative to zero points. Invention provides measurement of disagreement of roll zero points under load for further elimination of it in static condition. ^ EFFECT: improved quality of tubes, lowered degree of tube wall thickness difference.
