FIELD: machine engineering, namely cutting parts without burning of cut surfaces, possibly manufacture of samples for metallographic analysis. ^ SUBSTANCE: machine tool includes mechanism for fixing blanks; cutting unit in the form of driven abrasive disc arranged on balance beam mounted with possibility of rotation in vertical strut. Machine tool is also provided with mechanism (in the form of elastic torsion bar) for horizontal reciprocation motion of cutting unit. One end of torsion bar is rigidly joined with housing of machine tool. Vertical strut has upper and lower rotation axles. Other end of torsion bar is rigidly joined with lower rotation axle of vertical strut. ^ EFFECT: possibility for cutting parts without burning of cut surfaces, elimination of additional grinding operation. ^ 5 dwg |
