FIELD: medicine, surgery. ^ SUBSTANCE: one should cut two P-shaped fragments in projection of proximal interphalangeal articulation with bottoms being towards finger's lateral sides, dissect a crosspiece with cut fragments due to cross-sectional incision by mobilizing cicatricial tissues to remove longitudinal contraction in articular area, suture the tops of fragments together, cover wound defects at adjacent phalanges of fingers with replaced cicatricially altered local tissues.
