FIELD: non-ferrous metallurgy, namely equipment for electrolytic production of aluminum. ^ SUBSTANCE: apparatus for charging raw material to aluminum cell includes hopper, metering device with drive unit, aerating members mounted in hopper. Drive unit of metering device is in the form of two-chamber pneumatic cylinder. Each chamber of said cylinder is communicated through air distributor with one of aerating members. Aerating members are mounted in zone for charging raw material to metering device. Aerating member is in the form of cartridge having one porous wall with through type pores. ^ EFFECT: uniform charging of raw material to cell, designed value of electric-current yield of metal. ^ 3 cl, 1 dwg |
