FIELD: control and protection systems of nuclear reactors concerning, in particular, control element moving devices. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed control element drive has sealed casing, electromagnet unit that functions to build tractive force conveyed through casing wall by means of controlling electromagnetic field to pulling unit, toothed rod coupled with control element, magnetic shunt disposed in tractive unit, and carrying tube that mounts nonmagnetic stop; drive is also provided with step position sensor incorporating series-connected ac coils placed in sealed case and mounted on electromagnet unit. ^ EFFECT: enhanced reliability of control element movement to desired position. ^ 1 cl, 3 dwg |
