FIELD: transport engineering; side rear-view mirrors. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed rear-view mirror has case 1 with base. Case accommodates mirror plate 3 secured on base for turning relative to case by means of turning mechanism 4, and device to preclude stealing of inner parts of side mirror, including frame element 5 with inner edge 6 arranged behind the plane of mirror plate 3, and outer edge to which strip 7 is connected overlapping edges of mirror plate and providing unrestricted turning of mirror plate through any set angle. Frame element 5 is provided with boss connected to case base.
