FIELD: pulse engineering; various control and monitoring systems. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed symmetrical multivibrator is built around one-step integrated timer with adjusting resistor and shunt capacitor connected to reference-voltage lead; it has time-setting RC circuit whose common point is connected to flip-flop and threshold inputs of timer; second lead of time-setting RC circuit capacitor is connected to common lead of timer and second lead of time-setting RC circuit resistor is connected to high-resistance output through Schottky-barrier diode and directly to high-resistance output of timer. ^ EFFECT: enhanced efficiency, reliability and precision. ^ 1 cl, 1 dwg
