FIELD: road building materials. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to preparing sealing compositions based on petroleum road bitumen and polymer used for waterproofing in road building. The proposed bitumen composition comprises the following components, wt.-%: road petroleum bitumen, 59.2-62.0; styrene butadiene-styrene thermoelastoplastic, 1.5-2.0; organic solvent, 13.5-18.0; solid residue after pyrolysis of car tires, 10.0-12.0; rubber crumbs, 10.0-12.0, and adhesion addition agent BP-KSP, 0.8-1.0. Invention provides preparing high-quality material for sealing cracks in asphalt concrete coatings that shows enhanced values of thermal stability, increases stretch ability and elasticity at low temperatures and enhanced resistance against atmosphere factors. ^ EFFECT: improved and valuable properties of composition. ^ 3 tbl
