A display comprising a voice device (2) stacked on a liquid crystal panel (1) to be confined within the planar region thereof, and a circuit block of a voice system for driving the voice device (2) formed on the thin film substrate (10) of the liquid crystal panel (1). Signals are inputted to the circuit block of the voice system through an FPC (4) for inputting video signals connected with the thin film substrate (10), and signals processed at the circuit block of the voice system are taken out by utilizing the same FPC (4). A connecting terminal part (4a) is provided in the middle of the FPC (4) and pasted with an FPC (5) having one end thereof connected with the voice device (2). A multifunction display can thereby be realized at a low cost without sacrifice in the advantages of a thin and lightweight planar display by utilizing a limited space around the display element effectively. |
