The present invention relates to a cosmetic composition for the removal of make-up obtained by mixing at least the following ingredients: a) water, b) at least one surfactant, c) at least one emulsion, in particular at least one PIT emulsion, d) at least one oil or wa x component selected from the group consisting of vegetable, animal and mineral oils and waxes, and e) at least one silicon oil and/or wax component, as well as to a method for th e preparation of said cosmetic composition. Further, the present invention relates to an applicator for cosmetic and/or dermatological skin caring and/or cleansing purposes, in particular i n the form of pads, wipes, sponges or brushes, comprising the cosmetic composition according to the invention.
