The shelter has a telescopic cage mounted on four casters (2). The cage is made of a part in the form of a carrier structure (11) resting on the ground and of a cabin (10) encased in the structure and raised under the action of a lifting system (40). The cabin is provided with doors (30) permitting an operator to operate on a site for works, while remaining inside the cage.
