PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a stator of a rotating electric machine in which insulation quality is improved. SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the stator of the rotating electric machine includes a step of manufacturing a stator core having a plurality of teeth (S1000), a step of forming a coil in a shape coincident with shapes of the teeth (S1100), a step of winding a coil on the teeth (S1200), a step of restraining that at least one of the winding of the coil and the winding, the coil and adjacent coil wound on the teeth adjacent to the teeth wound with the coil, or the coil and the stator core may not be brought into contact (S1250), and a processing step of performing insulation processing to the coil wound on the stator core (S1400).
