PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an enclosed compressor which solves the problem that there is a high possibility of deformation of a crankshaft due to a press fitting because a press fitting is carried out to insert and secure an oil pump case for an enclosed compressor to a crankshaft, and thus fear about an adverse effect on the reliability of the sliding section of the crankshaft, and that there is possibility of a falling-out of the oil pump case when a spring nature is given to secure it to the crankshaft. SOLUTION: The enclosed compressor is constructed such that a notch is prepared at the insertion end into the crankshaft of the oil pump case. This makes it easy to insert the oil pump case into the crankshaft, allows for a drastic reduction in a press fitting load, thus does not deform the crankshaft, and prevents the oil pump case from falling out.
