PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a synthetic resin manhole with a synthetic resin riser having high strength against horizontal soil pressure and vertical soil pressure and enabling the use of inexpensive materials such as crushed stones for backfilling without causing deformation or breakage, the riser being connected to the upper face of the synthetic resin manhole embedded in soil. SOLUTION: The synthetic resin manhole 2 comprises the riser 1 formed of a synthetic resin pipe 11 which has a reinforcing rib 12 on the outer peripheral face continuously in the pipe axial direction.
