PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing coenzyme Q10 that has markedly improved properties by modifying the poor properties of this coenzyme, for example, markedly poor internal absorption, when it is taken as a medicine or ingested as a food because of its insolubility in water, easy degradability because of its over-sensitivity to light and high instability because of its easy oxidizability. SOLUTION: Water is added to cyclodextrin, they are thoroughly mixed and coenzyme Q10 is homogeneously admixed to the slurry kneaded mixture of cyclodextrin. The mixture is further kneaded for a certain time, ordinarily 30 minutes to several hours whereby the coenzyme Q10 molecules are each included into the cavity of cyclodextrin molecule. Thus, the water solubility or water emulsification or suspension properties of coenzyme Q10 are improved and the hypersensitivity to light, the instability to oxidation and the like are also improved and stabilized.
