PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bath cover storing device into/out of which a shutter type bath cover strong enough to avoid a possibility of fall of a child into a bathtub can be accommodated and pulled with one hand and which can accommodate the bath cover in a place causing no hindrance in a bathroom in a slim posture without allowing water drops adhering on the cover from flowing into a bathtub obstacle in a bathroom and which can accommodate the cover in a drying posture. SOLUTION: The bath cover storing device 4 can accommodate the shutter type bath cover 11 strong enough to avoid a possibility of fall of a child into a bathtub by suspending the cover along a bathroom wall face 3 above the short side of the bathtub 2. Protrusion from the bathroom wall face 3 is suppressed, and the device is shaped into a slim plate appearance looking line part of the wall. The bath cover 11 can be accommodated in and pulled out of the device with one hand easily by a winding device 5 which uses the gravity of a weight 6 as a force for winding the bath cover.
