<p>The rear axle comprises several housings with chambers (19, 23, 25) positioned behind each other and accommodating a transmission unit (8) and a brake unit (13). The components of the units are guided through oil consecutively moving from a chamber of a high level (20) to the next lower level (24, 27, 28) and back to the start by a pump. Oil is cast away from a rotating brake disk (15) surrounded by a ring chamber (29) collecting and removing the oil. The oil is moved to the upstream chamber (23) keeping the level within the chamber (23) constant.</p> |
