The front frame structure(4) of the body has two longitudinal member sections(5,6) spaced apart in the vehicle's transverse direction and constructed as crumbling supports for the absorption of crash energy. Connecting to the longitudinal member sections, well forward of the body cell, there is a forked arrangement of the longitudinal member structure forming a lower-lying floor support beam(7) and higher-lying mudguard area support(8). At least one cross member(9,10) is located in the lower region of the fork and/or between the floor support members. The module installation faces(15-19) are constructed on the cell side end sections of the floor supports and mudguard supports. |
