<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of manufacturing a frame for a luminaire of a type composed by connecting a plurality of frames to one another with connection members in a good appearance. <P>SOLUTION: (A) A molten resin 2 such as an urethane resin is run into an annular casting 1 (made of a silicon resin) to cast it. (B) The cast annular frame 3 is extracted from the casting 1, thereafter divided to form a plurality of frames 4.... (C) The adjacent frames 4, 4 are connected with the connection means 5 preferably made of metal to form this frame for a luminaire. The completed frame for a luminaire is used by fixing it to a peripheral part of a globe (or a body) 9 of the luminaire with an appropriate means, and ornaments 10 fixed to the frames 4, 4 are arranged between the adjacent frames 4, 4 along with the connection means 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
