<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power converter for enhancing the reliability of a system by avoiding a protection stop caused by an overcurrent and supplying high quality power stably to a load. <P>SOLUTION: A power converter comprises means 12 and 13 each operating a control index so that a voltage of a capacitor 6 coincides with a predetermined command value based on a voltage and a current of the capacitor 6 in an LC filter through which a load 7 is connected to the AC output side of an inverter 3, and a gate control means 17 for controlling the switching element of the inverter based on the control index of a control index operating means. The power converter is further provided with a means 4 for detecting an output current from the inverter, a dead zone setting means 14 receiving a current detected by the current detecting means and delivering an output for a current exceeding a predetermined dead zone, and a means 16 for correcting the index based on the output from the dead zone setting means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
