PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a home electric appliance control method in which a home electric appliance used in a home (living space) can remotely be controlled through a mobile phone etc., and its control state can suitably be confirmed. SOLUTION: Devices 22a to 22n which are one or more home electronic appliances used in the living space 20 are connected to a PC 21. A user automatically sends HA mail in HA mail format to the PC 21 from the mobile phone set 30 to the PC through a communication line 35 at proper time by being triggered by switching of the use mode of the mobile phone 30 to control a specified home electric appliance (e.g. device 22a) that the user selects and acquires information on the control state of the specified home electric appliance from the PC 21.
