PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system that enables a user to view or listen to multimedia information (radio, television, music, an Internet broadcast, etc.) and also answer a telephone call or visitor anywhere in a home. SOLUTION: A fixed unit (e.g. a master unit) is provided with a radio, television, Internet, and door-phone function, a mobile unit (e.g. a slave unit) is in a shape which is rich in portability, and a digital wireless communication system is employed between the master unit and slave unit.
