METHOD AND DEVICE FOR JOINING METAL SHEET

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means and a device capable of connecting metal sheets with more sufficient connection strength without depending on the kinds thereof. SOLUTION: The proximal end part 28 of a first metal sheet 20a discharged from a coil 22 and the termination end part 26 of a second metal sheet 20b continuously made to run prior thereto are superimposed each other. A plurality of parts separated by a prescribed distance to a longitudinal direction of each metal sheet 20a, 20b in the superimposed parts are subjected to spot welding operation by friction stir welding, thus the toe part 28 of the first metal sheet 20a and the termination part 26 of the second metal sheet 20b are mutually connected in the plurality of parts in the longitudinal direction of each metal sheet 20a, 20b.
