PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sliding door stopper having simple construction for holding the opening of a rotary door. SOLUTION: A U-shaped stopper rod is turnably mounted at one end on a bracket attached to the rearface of the door and it can be freely slid at the other end in a guide rail attached to the lower end of a body in linkage with door opening/closing operation. Since the stopper rod can be slid in the contact state with the front face of the guide rail during door opening operation, it falls down in a hole formed in a front portion of the guide rail to hold an opening angle. On the contrary, since the stopper rod performs hysteresis sliding motion in the contact state with the back face of the guide rail during door closing operation, it does not get in the hole formed in the front portion of the guide rail to make the door completely closed.
