PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polymer producing method allowing efficient production of a polymer having a target gel fraction, and an apparatus therefor. SOLUTION: The method is a method wherein a standard reaction rate for polymerization and a standard set polymerization temperature are previously determined according to a polymer to be produced and then the standard set polymerization temperature and the amount of a supplied initiator are regulated to maintain the standard reaction rate, thereby allowing production of a polymer having optional gel fraction for an identical polymerization time.
